I had never shot formals before this shoot. It was pretty intimidating. A friend of mine that's a photographer (her name is Skye, check out her site!) referred this lovely couple to me since we were both in the same area. It worked out and the shoot was a go, and although I was beyond excited for this opportunity to try a new string of clientele, I was very, very nervous. I brought along a close friend I met in my art classes here at school that shoots, too and Mason helped relieve the stress I was feeling. As my second shooter, he did amazing. Check out the shots he got on his VSCO grid. I was so happy working with this couple. They really couldn't have been any sweeter and the shoot couldn't have gone any smoother. We go to start at the most amazing location that the bride's family owns. (It still blows me away that I live in such a beautiful place. It makes my job that much easier;) It was such a relief and confidence boost to me doing this shoot! I'm counting blessings like these that come from this awesome photo job I have.
